Carmelo Greco has been renowned for his outstanding Italian cuisine for many years, first in Frankfurt-Rödelheim, where he continuously held a Michelin star and 17 points in Gault&Millau since 1996. Numerous other awards were given to Greco, amongst others the Sicilian native made the top five best Italian restaurants in Germany by glossy magazine BUNTE. Carmelo Greco’s style of cooking was mainly influenced by his former teacher Lidia Vanzino Alciati, the recently deceased 80 years old grand dame of Piemotesian culinary art.
